AsendiaAsendia tracking
The international leg only — your parcel is handed to Royal Mail or a local carrier for the doorstep.
Asendia is a wholesaler for retailers: it takes a parcel from a shop's warehouse abroad, flies it to Heathrow, clears customs, and hands it to someone else — Royal Mail for ordinary post, a commercial parcel carrier for premium parcels. It never touches your doorstep.
Track your Asendia parcel
Enter your Asendia tracking number below.
There is no single Asendia format — it follows the service and origin. UK-bound parcels commonly use the postal format of 2 letters, 9 digits and a country code (e.g. RR123456789GB), or a 9- or 11-digit number. Enter it exactly as the retailer gave it — some Asendia services are not tracked at all.
The courier that never knocks on your door
Asendia is the only courier on this site that never touches your doorstep. It is a wholesaler for retailers: it takes a parcel from a shop's warehouse abroad, flies it to Heathrow, clears customs, and hands it to someone else — Royal Mail for ordinary post, a commercial parcel carrier for premium parcels.
That is why an Asendia parcel can say “delivered” when nothing has arrived (it was delivered to Royal Mail), why there is no phone number to ring (you are not Asendia's customer — the retailer is), and why the answer to almost every problem is “contact the retailer”. If your parcel came from an overseas shop and the tracking mentions Asendia, this page tells you who actually has it and who can actually help.
Asendia is a joint venture of La Poste (France) and Swiss Post, formed in 2012. It sells to retailers and brands, not to shoppers — you cannot buy a shipment from Asendia directly.
Your Asendia tracking number
There is no single Asendia format — it follows the service and origin. UK-bound parcels commonly use the postal format of 2 letters, 9 digits and a country code (e.g. RR123456789GB), or a 9- or 11-digit number. Enter it exactly as the retailer gave it — some Asendia services are not tracked at all.
Example format: RR123456789GB — that is a shape, not a real parcel. Enter your own number exactly as the sender gave it: a single wrong letter is the most common reason a tracker says “not recognised”.
A parcel can have two tracking numbers: Asendia's number for the international leg and the final-mile partner's own number once handed over. The original Asendia number usually still works in Asendia's tracker after handover. Some Asendia services are not tracked at all — the retailer chooses the service; if you have no number, ask the retailer which service was used.
Asendia services & delivery times
Budget international parcel up to 2kg, delivered by the local postal operator. Basic/milestone tracking.
Tracked postal delivery up to 2kg (30kg in many regions), milestone tracking, optional signature.
Fully tracked up to 30kg, 40+ countries, end-to-end tracking. UK transit 3–6 business days.
Fastest service, up to 30kg, express-style delivery, customs prepaid options.
Delivery aims are the courier's stated aims for the service, not guarantees for every parcel. Bank holidays, bad weather and busy periods (especially Christmas) can add a day.
Delivery aims describe the international leg — the UK final mile adds the local partner's own time on top. Maximums: usually 30kg; most solutions under 900mm (length + width + height). Asendia also handles international mail and fulfilment for businesses, and returns go through the retailer — recipients do not book returns with Asendia directly.
Customs charges can hold your parcel
With DDP (duties prepaid) the duties are included in the goods price; with DAP the recipient pays on delivery. If the retailer did not include duties/taxes in the price, the UK customs broker (usually the delivery partner) contacts you for payment before delivery — or takes payment on delivery. Parcels are returned if fees are not paid swiftly. Query charges with the retailer first.
What each Asendia status means
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Shipment information received / Pre-advised | The retailer has sent Asendia the electronic details; Asendia may not have the physical parcel yet. | No movement is expected at this stage — wait for the first physical scan. |
| Received by Asendia / Item accepted | Asendia physically has the parcel at an origin facility. | Nothing to do — the parcel is in the network. |
| In transit / Departed origin country | The parcel has left the country it was shipped from. | Gaps of several days between scans are normal in international transit. |
| Arrived at destination country | The parcel has landed in the UK and is likely going through customs or sorting. | Customs can take time — wait for the handover scan. |
| Handed over to final-mile carrier | Asendia has passed the parcel to the UK delivery partner (usually Royal Mail for postal items). This is a handover, not delivery to you. | Follow the partner from here — the tracking page names which partner has it. |
| Out for delivery | The local partner has the parcel on a vehicle for delivery today. | Be ready — delivery is today. |
| Delivered | The parcel reached its final destination (recorded by the final-mile partner). | If nothing arrived, check household members, neighbours and any Safeplace first, then contact the retailer. |
| Delivery attempted | The driver tried and could not deliver. | Check for a calling card or contact the local carrier. |
| Exception / Alert | Customs delay, incorrect address, damage, or similar. | Read the detail shown with the event; for customs charges, contact the retailer first. |
These are the common tracker updates shown by independent tracking sites — Asendia's own tracker labels could not be captured without a real tracking number, so treat these as meanings, not verbatim official labels.
Parcel stuck or delayed — what to do
- Check the number first. Asendia has no single format — S10 (RR…GB), 9/11-digit, or 1-letter+12-digit are all possible. Enter it exactly as the retailer gave it. If the tracker does not recognise it, make sure you are on track.asendia.com — not a third-party tracker and not the dead uktracking.asendia.com address.
- No scan for several days is normal. Asendia's own FAQ says gaps of several days between scans happen in national and international transit. Wait until the retailer's stated delivery window has passed before treating it as stuck.
- Work out who has the parcel. If tracking shows a handover to the local delivery partner, Asendia no longer has it — contact that partner (usually Royal Mail; check the tracking page, which names the partner). If tracking still shows the parcel with Asendia and it is very delayed, contact the retailer.
- Lost or damaged: contact the retailer, not Asendia. Only the contract holder (the retailer/sender) can raise a claim with Asendia.
- 'Delivered' but nothing arrived: contact the retailer. Asendia's own FAQ says so. Check household members, neighbours and any Safeplace first — the final-mile partner's rules apply once handed over.
- No tracking number at all: some services are untracked by the retailer's choice. Ask the retailer which service was used; if it is tracked, ask them for the number. Asendia cannot help without one.
- Customs charges: if the retailer did not include duties/taxes in the price, the UK customs broker (usually the delivery partner) contacts you for payment before delivery — or takes payment on delivery. Parcels are returned if fees are not paid swiftly. Query charges with the retailer first.

Contact Asendia
Shopper supportAsendia has no public phone line for shoppers. If your parcel is still with Asendia, contact the retailer you bought from — they hold the contract and can raise a case with Asendia. If tracking shows the parcel is with the local delivery partner, contact that partner (usually Royal Mail). Asendia's own help is the Ask Asendia virtual assistant on asendia.co.uk, which can open a contact form.
If you are the recipient and the parcel is lost or damaged, contact the retailer/sender first — most couriers only accept claims from the sender.
Asendia tracking — FAQs
Who will deliver my Asendia parcel in the UK?
Asendia itself never delivers to your door. It handles the international leg to the UK, then hands the parcel to a local partner — Royal Mail for ordinary postal items, a commercial parcel carrier for premium parcels. Your tracking page names the partner once the handover happens.
Why does my tracking say delivered when nothing arrived?
'Delivered to final mile carrier' is a handover scan: Asendia delivered the parcel to its UK partner, not to you. The next real movement comes from that partner. If the final status says delivered and you have nothing, contact the retailer you bought from.
Why is there no Asendia phone number?
Asendia sells to retailers, not shoppers, and publishes no consumer phone line. Its shopper help is the Ask Asendia virtual assistant on asendia.co.uk. For a lost, damaged or very delayed parcel, contact the retailer — only they can raise a claim with Asendia.
My Asendia tracking hasn't updated for days — is it lost?
Not necessarily. Asendia's own FAQ says several days can pass between scans in national and international transit. Wait until the retailer's stated delivery window has passed, then contact the retailer.
What does my Asendia tracking number look like?
There is no single format. UK-bound parcels commonly use the postal format of 2 letters, 9 digits and a country code (e.g. RR123456789GB), or a 9- or 11-digit number. Some services are not tracked at all — if you have no number, ask the retailer which service was used.
My parcel says wnDirect — where do I track it?
wnDirect was bought by Asendia in 2019 and merged into Asendia UK, and there is no wnDirect website or tracker any more. Enter your wnDirect number on Asendia's tracker at track.asendia.com — wnDirect numbers are managed in Asendia's tracking system. If tracking shows a handover to a local partner, that partner delivers it (usually Royal Mail in the UK). If it is stuck, lost or damaged, contact the retailer you bought from — only they can raise a case with Asendia.
