APC Overnight tracking
The UK's largest independent delivery network — 90+ local depots, 7-digit tracking plus postcode, and a live PinPoint map.
APC Overnight is not one national courier — it is 90+ independently owned local depots, each covering its own area. That is why there is no single customer-service desk: contact, quotes, collections and hours all run through your local depot — and tracking needs two things, not one.
Track your APC Overnight parcel
Enter your APC Overnight tracking number below.
A 7-digit consignment number, for example 1234567 — plus your delivery postcode. The number alone returns nothing: APC tracking needs both.

The courier that's actually 90+ local depots
Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Cannock, APC is the UK's largest independent delivery network — 90+ independently owned local depots. Your depot is the one that covers your postcode: use the Depot Finder on apc.co.uk for its hours and number.
Don't confuse APC Overnight with APC Postal Logistics — a US cross-border consolidator and a different company entirely.
APC now brands itself “The APC” (legal name still The Alternative Parcels Company Ltd).
Your APC Overnight tracking number
A 7-digit consignment number, for example 1234567 — plus your delivery postcode. The number alone returns nothing: APC tracking needs both.
Example format: 1234567 — that is a shape, not a real parcel. Enter your own number exactly as the sender gave it: a single wrong letter is the most common reason a tracker says “not recognised”.
The number is on your dispatch email or the missed-delivery card. The APC Choice form asks for the consignment number AND the delivery postcode — the number alone returns nothing.
APC Choice: a 2-hour slot and a live map
Once your parcel is out for delivery, APC Choice shows a 2-hour estimated delivery slot by email or text — and PinPoint, a live map showing the driver's current stop and how close they are to your address. Unusually precise for a B2B-leaning network.
Tracking can stop updating while a parcel is in transit between depots, before it is scanned at the next location, while it waits for processing at the local depot, or if the driver has a scanner issue. That is usually a gap between scans, not a lost parcel.
APC Overnight services & delivery times
The core product: most UK deliveries arrive the next working day after dispatch (may vary by location). Up to 30 kg per item, max 120 × 55 × 50 cm, up to 20 items.
Timed options on weekdays and Saturdays: before 10:30am and before 12 noon. Saturday delivery available in many areas if arranged by the sender.
MailPack up to 1 kg (A4), CourierPack up to 5 kg (A3), Lightweight Parcel up to 5 kg.
Fragile (hand-sorted, segregated cages), Liquid (beer/wine/bottled goods), Security (high-value, CCTV-segregated sort), Limited Quantity (hazardous goods in small quantities), Live Fish & Live Coral (APHA-licensed).
Book-and-pay-online service for occasional or one-off senders.
Worldwide air + European road service in partnership with Air Menzies International. No transit times are published.
Delivery aims are the courier's stated aims for the service, not guarantees for every parcel. Bank holidays, bad weather and busy periods (especially Christmas) can add a day.
Missed delivery — rearrange or collect
Rearrange delivery to another day via APC Choice — after a first failed attempt you can reschedule once more.
Collect from your local depot — but not on the same day delivery was attempted. For next-day depot collection, requests must be made before 7:00pm. Bring the missed-delivery card, proof of identity and proof of address; check depot opening times first.
Leave in a safe place, or with a specified neighbour — only with the sender's permission (or via APC Choice if allowed). Recipients cannot instruct this unilaterally, and it is not available for business addresses.
Collect from a Parcelly location (Parcelly convenience-store network) — available if the sender provided an email address at booking. APC has no locker network of its own; Parcelly is the pickup-point partner.
⚠️ APC will never ask you to pay for a delivery
APC will never ask for payment or card details for a delivery. Forward suspicious emails to phishing@apc-overnight.com and report to Action Fraud.
Parcel stuck or delayed — what to do
- Tracking shows nothing: the parcel may not yet be despatched, not yet scanned into the network, or the number entered wrong — try again later or confirm the number with the sender.
- Missed delivery (“Sorry we missed you” card or email): follow the card instructions or use APC Choice to rearrange delivery or collection. Drivers cannot reattempt the same day.
- Contact as soon as possible after a missed delivery — if no contact within 3 working days, the parcel may be returned to the sender.
- Damaged parcel: contact the sender directly — the sender handles the claim.

APC Overnight tracking — FAQs
What is my APC consignment number?
7 digits, on your dispatch email or the missed-delivery card. It is the tracking reference assigned to your parcel — for example 1234567 (a shape, not a real parcel).
Why do I need my postcode to track?
APC tracking needs the consignment number AND the delivery postcode; the number alone returns nothing. Enter both on the APC Choice tracker.
What is the 2-hour delivery slot / PinPoint?
Once out for delivery, APC Choice shows a 2-hour estimated delivery slot and PinPoint — a live map of the driver's current stop and how close they are to your address.
I missed my delivery — what do I do?
Rearrange or collect via APC Choice; drivers can't reattempt the same day. Contact within 3 working days or the parcel may go back to the sender.
Can I collect from the depot / a Parcelly store?
Yes — depot collection (not same day; request before 7pm) or a Parcelly location if the sender provided an email at booking.
Can my parcel be left safe or with a neighbour?
Only with the sender's permission; not available for business addresses.
